Network Service Providers are those partners who own a physical network and/or leases transport to support their primary business of utilization through managed or hosted communication solutions and value-added services. Depending on the service provider's business model, they may be in the business of selling long-distance, local services, hosted applications, and/or data services.
Unified Communications Solutions Providers focus on providing customers with complete unified communications solutions that may include consulting, process integration, presence, messaging, voice, and telepresence and videoconferencing. UC solutions providers either provide managed services for telepresence of videoconferencing, or partner with service providers to provide them.
A/V Solution Providers and System Integrators handle the project needs of their clients from concept to installation through ongoing support and management. They focus on selling, installing, and serving their clients by evaluating their needs, specifying the mix of manufacturer's hardware and software solutions required to meet project goals, installing the video and audio/voice hardware and software at the client site(s) while often maintaining on-going service and support. AV Solution Providers and System Integrators can also act as general contractors or prime contractors providing value-added solutions to customers that may include products and services from several third-party suppliers. They integrate hardware and/or software to provide specific solutions to meet customer business needs.
