President and Chief Executive Officer
Pete is Glowpoint's president and chief executive officer. Prior to his current role, Pete served as Glowpoint’s senior vice president of business development following Glowpoint’s acquisition of privately-held Affinity VideoNet in October of 2012. Following the acquisition, Pete focused on the successful integration of Affinity and Glowpoint, and was responsible for managing the business development team.
Before joining Glowpoint, Pete was the chief executive officer for Affinity, where he was responsible for determining the company’s direction and product strategy, including business development and partnerships. He has a proven track record of driving sales growth in the communications industry overall. Pete has held a series of increasingly responsible senior management positions in sales and finance, including serving as the president and chief operating officer with Raindance Communications, where he guided its sale to West Corporation in 2006.
Pete earned a degree in business administration from the University of Ottawa.
Chief Financial Officer
David joined Glowpoint in March 2013 as chief financial officer. David leads the global financial operations team and is responsible for investor relations. His responsibilities also include financial planning and reporting, accounting, taxes and treasury.
David has more than 20 years of experience in finance and accounting. Prior to joining Glowpoint, David spent more than eight years with Allos Therapeutics, a publicly-traded biopharmaceutical company. He served most recently as Allos Therapeutics vice president of finance, treasurer and acting chief financial officer. David was responsible for oversight and management of all financial activities, including equity financings, strategic financial planning, and investor relations. Before Allos, David spent four years with Seurat Company (formerly XOR Inc.), an e-commerce managed services company, serving most recently as chief financial officer. David began his career, and spent more than seven years, in the audit practice with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
David is a certified public accountant and earned a master’s degree in accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Denver.
Senior Vice President of Sales
Scott joined Glowpoint in 2013 as senior vice president of sales. Scott leads global sales and channel development.
Scott has more than 20 years of experience in field sales and sales leadership with leading UC companies. Scott also has an extensive background in developing strategic alliances and in corporate development, including mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining Glowpoint, Scott held several sales and marketing leadership positions with Polycom, Cisco Systems, Redback (now Ericsson) and Nomadix (now NTT DOCOMO). Scott was instrumental in these organizations’ sales growth in both enterprise and service-provider markets, and in the development and management of channel programs.
Scott earned a Bachelor of Science in computer science and mathematics from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
Vice President, Operations
Matt joined Glowpoint in 2012 and is vice president of operations. Prior to his current role, Matt served as senior director of operations after Glowpoint acquired Affinity VideoNet in October of 2012. Matt leads all service and support operations including conference production, customer service, and Business-Class Support services such as monitoring, management and Helpdesk.
Before joining Glowpoint, Matt served as the senior director of operations, overseeing support and service functions for Affinity VideoNet. Matt has more than 13 years of experience with audio, web and video conferencing, having held various director level roles at Raindance Communications and InterCall. Matt has built and led large support teams and has focused on delivering high-touch, customer-centric service with the goal of ensuring an exceptional customer service experience.
Matt earned a master’s degree in business and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Vice President, Information Technology
Ted joined Glowpoint in 2013 as vice president of information technology. Ted leads engineering and development for the company. He has more than 19 years of experience building and delivering technology solutions for a diverse set of industries including healthcare, financial and media.
Prior to joining Glowpoint, Ted led a number of high-growth companies, including Rays Teleradiology, AccuPost Corporation and SpireMedia. Ted focused his efforts on business process management and workflow automation at Rays Teleradiology and AccuPost, and each business was successfully acquired by EmCare and TransUnion, respectively.
Ted earned a Bachelor of Science in business and economics from Lehigh University.
Vice President, Human Resources
Jeanne joined Glowpoint in October 2013 as vice president of human resources. Jeanne leads talent acquisition, benefits, compensation, learning and development, employee relations, payroll, and leadership development. Jeanne has more than 20 years of human resource management experience.
Prior to joining Glowpoint, she spent several years as an independent consultant with early-stage companies to create effective and sustainable human resource results. Much of her work has involved assisting IT services, web application, and software development organizations to recruit, develop, and retain an enviable workforce and culture.
Jeanne earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan’s College of Literature, Science, and the Arts. She is currently enrolled in Villanova University’s Master of Science in Human Resource Development program.
Director, Product Management
Mark joined Glowpoint in January 2012 and is responsible for the company’s product management function. This includes developing Glowpoint’s product roadmap, ensuring products and services are implemented and operational, and monitoring product performance.
Prior to joining Glowpoint, Mark spent over a year managing UC solution design and user adoption at Consolidated Technologies Inc (CTI) in New York. Mark also spent 4 years as Director of Customer Relations at Stage 2 Networks, a NY-based voice and network provider, where he managed the service delivery and account management teams.
Mark attended the University of Pennsylvania where he played 4 years on the Men’s Lacrosse team and earned his BA in Political Science.
Angela joined Glowpoint in October 2013 as controller. Angela leads the team responsible for corporate accounting, internal controls, risk management, and financial planning and analysis functions.
Angela joins Glowpoint with more than ten years of experience in finance and accounting. Prior to joining Glowpoint, Angela worked at the Zayo Group, a global provider of bandwidth infrastructure services, as controller for the Colocation Business Unit and its UK subsidiaries. At Zayo, Angela was involved in several acquisitions, most notably the acquisition of Abovenet Communications Inc., in July of 2012. Angela also spent three years with BT Conferencing Video, Inc., an international managed video and collaboration services company, located in Westminster, CO. Angela began her career working in the audit practice with KPMG LLP.
Angela is a certified public accountant and received a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
